What I really wanted to say today was that any y’all who haven’t had other people pay your entire way; you’re all fucked. Don’t lose touch because now you no longer hold that privilege.
That, and, go be a Dancer. A Rockette. A Poet. A Writer. A Baseball player. A Lawyer. A Doctor. Go be whatever, and whomever, you desire to be: we’re all fucked. But at least were all in the same boat.
Be Happy.
Tippi Benjamine Okanti Degré, daughter of French wildlife photographers Alain Degré and Sylvie Robert, was born in Namibia. During her childhood she befriended many wild animals, including a 28-year old elephant called Abu and a leopard nicknamed J&B. She was embraced by the Bushmen and the Himba tribespeople of the Kalahari, who taught her how to survive on roots and berries, as well as how to speak their language.
Is it okay for this to be my real life goal?
for me and my children? And everyone and all their children?
yes. yes it is.

DebateMate on MSNBC.
I was looking up debate teams to join in the Boston area when I found DebateMate and immediately knew I had to be involved in any way possible. Within days of cold-writing a letter of interest, I was able to meet with Anna and actually judge at the Debate Cup! Seeing these students thrive, and under pressure at that, is just so rewarding. Next year I’ll be employeed as a mentor and I CANNOT WAIT!
This is so important.
